Today’s Post
The weather is warming up, birds are chirping, and the days are getting longer…spring is here! It’s no secret that a huge inspiration for us (and really anyone who cooks or bakes) is seasons. Summer is for light and refreshing cold dishes, fall is for apple, pumpkin, and warming spices, and winter is full-on soup and stew season. Many of the recipes we develop take inspiration from the weather, as well as the produce that’s in season.

Hopefully, this post has given you some inspiration for the coming months. Although spring isn’t always a long season, it’s still a great time to use fresh fruits and vegetables and incorporate plenty of color into our bakes. I know that I’m really looking forward to rhubarb returning to the grocery stores so I can make plenty of rhubarb desserts, like rhubarb cake and pie. What’s your favorite spring recipe to make?
