It’s so hard to believe it’s already mid-June and summer is in full swing, at least where we are! When the weather is nice and sunny, like it has been recently, we love to eat dinner outside as much as we possibly can.
Over Christmas, I traveled to Denmark to visit my grandmother and extended family. While I was there, I took a peek in a couple of old cookbooks to get some ideas for new Skandibaking recipes.
“Gule ærter” translates literally to “yellow peas.” It’s a soup that is usually cooked on salt pork, but we use bacon and ham in ours, since it’s more widely available where we are.
