It’s hard to believe that two years ago we were in the middle of a pandemic and decided to start this blog. Since we are celebrating two years of Skandibaking this week, I thought I would take the chance to reflect on the past two years in today’s blog post.
As autumn begins to make its way into the picture, we are feeling so excited for the colder weather and seasonal baking to start. Nothing beats the chill of October, with crisp orange leaves falling from the trees while you get cozy in a big warm sweater and fuzzy socks with a hot cup of tea.
Growing up in a Danish-American household, there were always peculiar tools and devices in our kitchen. We took a lot of these things for granted as children because we used them on a daily basis. And, as children do, we thought they were a part of every kitchen, not just ours.
