As we have worked on this blog, many of our recipes, while they are our own way of doing things, are not anything new. We base our blog on many baked goods and desserts that already exist.

Hi everyone! It has been a few weeks since our last blog post. Sofie was on her honeymoon and then we had to catch up on developing some recipes so we took a little hiatus, but we’re back now!
Today’s recipe is for a citronroulade, or lemon swiss roll. It consists of a fluffy and airy fatless sponge rolled up with super tart lemon curd and sweet whipped cream.
December 13th is Saint Lucy’s Day (Luciadag), a Christian holiday that Scandinavia celebrates. It is an imported Swedish holiday in Denmark, so most of our traditions stem from Sweden.
November is coming to an end, which means it’s Thanksgiving time in the US! Our favorite part of Thanksgiving is by far the food and quality time spent with family.
We love bread rolls. Possibly more than regular loaves of bread, and that’s a significant statement for us. They’re just the perfect little package of bread, with lots of crust on the outside and a fluffy interior.
